My Week...

On Monday, we took a trip downtown to visit some sites to see how they changed over time. This was a very exciting trip. I saw some on the bodies of water in Philadelphia and saw the back trails to the city where you rarely see people walking and bikes, but more cars. During our first trip to the park, which was Tuesday, we trailed the Wissahickon Park. While walking we saw some interesting things. We saw some places where erosion took place and the land switched shape. Wednesday, we watched a movie about Hurricane Katrina and how the people of New Orleans suffered. It was a very sad film. On Thursday, we went back to Wissahickon Park to take another trail going towards Falls Bridge which allowed us to see other roads for bikers and how the cars travel. I learned a lot this week. I think the park should have more spaces to sit and rest, bathrooms and water fountains. I would ulike to learn more about the bodies of water, where, and how they flow.
