Mircale Makers: Yesterday, we took a walk to different historical places. The walk was very long and tiersom. Even though, some of the facts and places were very signifigant, we feel like the walk was very pointless. Although the sites were extremely amazing and we learned alot. We just don't think they were enough hands on, or informational, like it should have been.
Universal Negro Improvement Association:
The philosophical system was founded by Marcus Garvey which states that people of African descent can only establish true freedom by relying on self, and not others. UNIA headquarters, has been located at 1611 Cecil B. Moore Avenue in North Philadelphia for 46 years steady. There are approximately 2,000 UNIA members nationwide, and they have made the pledge to "do all in their power to conserve the rights of their noble race and to respect the rights of all mankind, believing always in the brotherhood of man and the Fatherhood of God."
